Ok, so you probably could. Amanda and I have been running on Tuesdays and Thursdays-- today officially marked the beginning of week 3. We mix it up a bit, going to Star Lake some mornings and hitting up the Rivi on others. The Rivi is good for distance running - we actually both have found that we run faster and farther when we hit the treadmill; Star Lake is good for getting some fresh air and getting the lungs working. Still working on that mouth-breathing thing. Sexxxxxy. We did about 2.5 miles this morning, which may not seem like a lot to some of youse runners, but for me, that's no small feat. I am going to make my milestones small (not sure what Amanda decides), so I am going to make my next goal 3 miles. Ugh. I cannot WAIT for the day when I am pounding pavement like Forrest Gump and can truthfully say, "I just felt like running." Yeah, I have NEVER had that feeling come over me. Here's hoping it hits soon.
Shout out to AP -- she's a good lil' running buddy if I might say so myself. It's much easier to roll out of bed in the morning while it is still dark outside when you know someone is waiting on you.
In related news, I have a WL goal of -8lbs.
Here's to the journey!
